Could Your Relationship Use a Reset, Refresh, or Renewal?

Strong relationships don't happen by accident. They take time, effort, and sometimes a little support to help navigate life's challenges.

Following the success of last year's programme, we are bringing back its Couples Workshop Series, a six-week opportunity for couples to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and reconnect with what brought them together in the first place.

"Between work, family commitments, and the realities of Wānaka’s cost of living, many couples find themselves in survival mode without even realising it. Often, there isn't a major problem in the relationship. Life has simply become so busy that time for us takes a back seat. This workshop creates space for couples to pause, reconnect, and invest in their relationship. We know that strong relationships help build strong families and stronger communities."

Maybe it's the same argument on repeat. Maybe a quiet distance has crept in over time. Or maybe life has simply become so busy that you're spending all your time managing the week than connecting with each other.

Whatever your situation, this workshop provides practical tools to help couples have safe conversations, navigate conflict, understand relationship patterns, rebuild trust, and create a stronger foundation for the future.

"To be honest, my partner really didn't want to come. After a full day at work, spending an evening at a relationship workshop wasn't high on either of our lists. We both wondered whether it would be worth it. We were wrong. We walked away with practical tools we still use today and, more importantly, feeling connected again. It felt like we'd hit the reset button on our relationship."

Over six weeks, couples will explore ways to communicate more openly, navigate difficult conversations, work through recurring conflict, and better understand each other's needs and patterns. Whether you're dealing with money worries, parenting disagreements, emotional distance, or simply want to feel more like a team again, this programme is designed to help.

And it's not just for couples in crisis.

"We nearly didn't come because we honestly didn't think it was for us. We weren't fighting all the time and we weren't in crisis. Life was just busy. Between work, kids, and Wānaka’s cost of living, we'd slipped into survival mode and were mostly just getting through the week. Without really noticing it, we'd stopped talking about much beyond what needed doing. The workshop gave us a chance to reconnect, have conversations we'd been putting off, and learn some practical tools that made a real difference. We got so much more out of it than we expected."

The relationship you want is worth investing in.

Because when couples are stronger, your families are stronger, and the communities are stronger too.
